ABOUT US
Helping Hand Providers are a collective of people who believe the care for the intellectually and developmentally disabled could be better and provide stronger support to those that receive services and the providers that serve them. The head of this collective, Erick Kainde, has witnessed the imbalances of these supports and has been striving to change them.
We aim to make a difference in how we care for you or your loved one by building strong connections within your care network, and your community. By building a support team comprised mostly of veteran host home providers, we have created programs that respect individual choice, provide empathy and understanding, and open doors to the best possible standard of living by providing proper support to you and your provider.
Our organization offers residential and supportive community connections, as well as other services and supports, to people with intellectual and developmental impairments. Through education, communication, and thoughtful, person-centered services, Helping Hand Providers aspires to be a leader in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as a partner to our local community. Currently, we serve the Adams, Arapahoe, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, and Jefferson counties in the Denver metro area.
ERICK KAINDE
CEO / Director
With his mother being a host home provider for the intellectually and developmentally disabled, Erick is quite familiar with the support required to keep both providers and those receiving services happy. This has been a considerable part of his life and development for the better part of two decades.
Trained as a QMAP in elderly care, he worked his way up to Administrator of Record and is now working as the director/CEO of Helping Hand Providers. Erick works hard to invest everything he has into the growth of the people he serves and the providers he works with. In his previous role as Administrator of Record, he worked with CDPHE and the local Ombudsman to create a space providing mindful care catered to each resident.
With his acquired training in health care administration, along with his experience during his formative years, Erick continues working to change the perspective of how we do care on all levels.
